The Machine Era Original is precision machined from solid brass in Richmond, Virginia. Its compact, all-metal construction keeps things deliberately simple: no springs, no complicated mechanisms, and very little to wear out.
A threaded cap keeps the tip protected in your pocket and posts securely on the back while writing. The solid brass body has some satisfying weight to it and will gradually develop its own patina with use, making each pen a little more personal over time.
It ships with a Pilot G2 refill, so replacements are inexpensive and easy to find.
